Three materials. Three stories. One object.

The glass lid comes from a glass factory on Murano – production remnants that have been stored for up to 25 years. Traces of time are visible and intentional: they make each piece unmistakable.

The wooden body is created in collaboration with an Italian woodturner: cherry, olive, or walnut wood, stained black and waxed. Each body is individually adapted to its glass lid – no two pieces are alike.

Wormholes and knot holes are intentional – they tell the story of the wood. Each piece visibly carries its own past within it.

The optional knob made of old bakelite completes the ensemble – a material with history that is rarely found today.
